Day 6: A Picture That Makes You Happy

There are so many!
I've decided to bend the rules. I can't stop at one.
Here are some:

I Love This Idea!

This is super dooper cute!
I'd love to do this for a baby shower or wedding.

Strawberry plants as take home gifts!

You could do it with ANY plant.
I think I would choose either a hardy flower or some herbs!
Hmmm... maybe I could give them out at my House Warming...?
Time to eat some tinned foods!

Day 5: Someone You Would Switch Lives With for a Day and Why

A boy.
Just to see what it's like for the other half!

Day 4: What Was the Last Thing You Cooked or Baked That is Not in Your Usual Repertoire

Last weekend I made a delectable apple pie for the first time!
I was so impressed with it that for the first time when making something new, I didn't take a photo! We just ate it immediately.
I even cut out pastry leaves and put them on top! It was scrummy!
Might just have to make another so I can take photos!

This weekend I will be attempting to make Easter eggs!
I bought some moulds and today I bought all different types of chocolate so I can experiment!
Excited! Will be sure to post photos of the end product.

Day 3: Best Ever Dessert

Crepes.
And I have nothing more to say on that matter.

Day 2: Your 2 Favourite Songs & Why You Like Them

I don't know how anyone can cut down the number of their favourite songs to just two. But alas...

Number One:
Angels Son by Sevendust.
I love this song for so many reasons. It's a beautiful song in itself but it means so much to me.
It reminds me of high school when I fist heard it. It reminds me of the fun we had in my friends lounge room with the entire album that this song is on, up so loud.
It also reminds me of the devastating pain we went through when we lost our little girl, as we played it at her memorial.
Beautiful song, amazing band.

Number Two:
Ocean by John Butler.
A beautiful instrumental piece.
As John Butler says himself, it's his 'conversational piece.'
There seems to be so much emotion in this song (and every other one he's written). Somehow, even with no lyrics, it seems like you can relate to this song.

Day 1: Write About Your Best Friend

I have a lot of close friends who I love with my whole, entire heart but there is one who is Numero Uno.
That person, I'm proud to say, is the one and only: Miss Kiera Jean Nelson.

A few reasons why she is my best:
She is smart, beautiful, kind, honest, funny and all-round lovely.

We've been friends for coming up on seven years now and we've been there for each other through some horribly hard times and some amazingly wonderful times.

We've been away on holidays together. She even stayed at my place in Ireland.

We have lovely dates (although too few for my liking).

We share the same taste in many things, seafood is not one of those things.

We both love the Cat Empire. And about a million other bands.

We both love looking at other peoples wedding photos and talking about what ours will be like.

We both love shopping.

We both prefer to be barefoot but neither of us like it when we're at Peats Ridge Festival and realise that from the way it smells, that's probably not mud.

We both adore cute (and ugly for that matter) babies.

We both love a bit of crap tv, especially reality tv - even more so if we can email about it at work the next day. Better yet, text during the show.

We both like flowy skirts. And flowers. And kittens.

We both enjoy dancing to good music, whether in a live venue in the city, at a huge festival or in the middle of the bush.

I really could go on and on, but she knows everything that makes our friendship what it is.

Thanks fave, for being you.
You're truly the best one I have.
